Position Overview:

The Community HealthCare Association of the Dakotas (CHAD) is in search of a dedicated Marketing and Event Specialist. This full-time role focuses on crafting communication and marketing materials for the Get Covered Collaborative Navigator initiative in South Dakota.

Role Responsibilities:

The Marketing and Event Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing marketing content aimed at reaching individuals in need of health insurance, particularly targeting rural communities, low-income populations, American Indians, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and Medicaid-eligible consumers.
  • Enhancing CHAD's outreach efforts to support member health centers that serve low-income, geographically isolated, minority, homeless, and migrant populations in both North and South Dakota.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • A commitment to understanding the challenges faced by individuals in accessing health coverage, including socio-economic and cultural barriers.
  • Experience in graphic design or related fields such as marketing, sales, art, animation, video, or audio production.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Microsoft applications, and other content management systems.
  • Familiarity with the health care or health insurance sectors is preferred, along with experience in a non-profit setting.
