Key Responsibilities:
The incoming Chief Executive Officer will possess a robust Christian faith and preferred experience in leadership, fundraising, and social services. This role involves:
- Providing leadership within the community and among partner organizations that affect our clients (25%).
- Fostering an engaged Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers.
- Implementing strategies to enhance staff and board involvement.
- Identifying and leveraging community resources to advance our mission.
- Engaging in public speaking for recruitment and fundraising purposes.
- Participating in community committees to enhance our mission.
- Driving revenue growth (50%).
The CEO will manage a diverse portfolio of relationships, aiming to increase revenue annually and identify potential donors through community connections. Responsibilities include:
- Stewarding and recognizing key relationships with donors and partners.
- Leading fundraising campaigns to meet revenue targets.
- Contributing to the success of special events and initiatives.
- Overseeing grant writing and reporting.
- Managing digital fundraising and marketing efforts.
Enhancing Organizational Capacity:
To increase the effectiveness of The Community Outreach, the CEO will:
- Communicate the organization’s priorities effectively.
- Lead the implementation of the Strategic Plan.
- Ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with our mission.
- Support the professional growth of staff through coaching and feedback.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven leadership experience, preferably in a non-profit or social service setting.
- Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- A background in community engagement and volunteer management.
- Expertise in revenue generation and budget management.
- A successful history of fostering positive work environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and fundraising strategies.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping and budget development for multi-program organizations.

Compensation and Benefits:
The Chief Executive Officer position is a full-time role with a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits include:
