Position Overview
The primary objective of this role is to oversee and manage activities associated with resident admissions, orientation, and the execution of special events, alongside community outreach initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring resident retention across Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), and Memory Care (MC) sectors, while also providing exceptional customer service follow-up after move-ins.
Essential Duties
- Assist residents and their families throughout the move-in process, including the signing of residency agreements.
- Coordinate necessary background checks and ensure all medical documentation is submitted to the nursing director prior to admission.
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready and communicate with all departments to facilitate timely preparations for IL, AL, and MC residents.
- Conduct apartment inspections post-discharge and prior to new admissions.
- Maintain and update the weekly Availability Report or relay this information to the Marketing Director.
- Foster relationships with residents through the implementation of the 'Happy You're Here' signature move-in program, which includes personal meetings, group activities, new resident orientations, and participation in resident council meetings.
- Engage with deposited prospects and their families, both on-site and off-site, to assist in the move-in process.
- Facilitate community tours for IL, AL, and MC prospects, accommodating both scheduled visits and walk-ins.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events within and outside the facility.
- Ensure compliance with established safety regulations for personnel and guests, particularly regarding the use of equipment and supplies.
- Provide ongoing follow-up after move-ins to address any issues promptly, enhancing resident satisfaction.
- Maintain communication with residents, family members, and referral sources through follow-up calls.
- Manage the CRM database, entering prospect and move-in information promptly, and complete required daily and weekly census reports.
- Participate in training programs to meet state, federal, and company standards.
- Uphold a clean and professional work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions, follow directives, and accept constructive feedback. The role requires tactful interaction with residents, families, visitors, and various stakeholders. Comfort in working with diverse populations, including the elderly and those facing emotional challenges, is essential.
Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary for effective communication with supervisors, staff, residents, and families.
As a Platinum Service Ambassador, the selected candidate will complete the Platinum Service and Service Recovery Training Programs and participate in a mini Ambassador Training Seminar, provided by the facility.
Education and Experience
A minimum of one year of college education or equivalent experience is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook) and experience with relational databases is also preferred.
