Position Overview

The primary aim of this role is to manage and oversee activities associated with resident admissions, orientation, and special events, as well as community outreach initiatives. A significant outcome of this position is to enhance resident retention across Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), and Memory Care (MC) sectors, while providing exceptional customer service following move-in.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Resident Engagement
  1. Assist residents and their families with the admission process and the completion of necessary agreements, including the coordination of background checks and medical documentation for the nursing team.
  2. Ensure readiness for new residents by communicating with all departments to prepare IL, AL, and MC living spaces and service requirements. Conduct thorough inspections of apartments prior to new admissions and maintain the weekly availability report.
  3. Foster relationships with residents through the implementation of a welcoming program, engaging in personal meetings, group activities, and attending resident council gatherings.
  4. Meet with prospective residents and their families, both on-site and off-site, to facilitate the transition into the community.
  5. Assist in conducting tours for potential residents, accommodating both scheduled visits and walk-ins.
  6. Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing events within and outside the community.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety protocols for staff and guests, particularly regarding the use of equipment and supplies.
  8. Provide ongoing support after move-ins, addressing any issues promptly to enhance resident satisfaction and resolve service concerns as they arise.
  9. Conduct follow-up communications with residents, families, and referral sources.
  10. Maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) database, ensuring timely entry of prospect and move-in information, and prepare required census reports.
  11. Participate in training programs to meet industry standards and company policies.
  12. Uphold a clean and professional work environment.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions, follow directives, and accept constructive feedback. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with residents, families, staff, and external agencies. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required for effective communication.

As a representative of the organization, this role will involve completing designated training programs to enhance service delivery and recovery strategies.
Education and Experience

A preference for candidates with at least one year of college education or equivalent experience is noted. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook) and relational database management is advantageous.
