Role Responsibilities:
The Marketing and Event Specialist will be responsible for:
- Creating and implementing marketing content to effectively reach individuals in need of health insurance, particularly in rural areas, low-income populations, American Indians, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and Medicaid-eligible consumers.
- Enhancing CHAD's capacity to support member health centers that serve low-income, geographically isolated, minority, homeless, and migrant populations across North and South Dakota.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- A commitment to understanding the life experiences of individuals facing barriers to health coverage, including poverty and cultural diversity.
- Experience in graphic design or related fields such as marketing, sales, art, animation, video, or audio production.
- Advanced digital skills, particularly with Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Microsoft applications, and other digital content management platforms.
- A background in health care or health insurance is preferred, along with experience in a non-profit setting.
