Position Overview

The main objective of this role is to oversee and manage activities related to resident admissions, orientation, and the organization of special events, along with community outreach initiatives. A crucial goal of this position is to enhance resident retention across Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), and Memory Care (MC) sectors, while providing exceptional customer service following the move-in process.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing and Resident Services Duties
  1. Assist residents and their families with the admission process and the completion of residency agreements, which may involve coordinating background checks and ensuring all necessary medical documentation is submitted to the nursing director prior to admission.
  2. Ensure that all living spaces are ready for new residents and communicate with various departments to guarantee timely preparation of apartments and service requirements. Conduct inspections of apartments post-discharge and prior to new admissions. Update the weekly availability report or relay this information to the Marketing Director.
  3. Foster relationships with residents by implementing a welcoming move-in program, which includes personal meetings, group activities, new resident orientations, and participation in resident council meetings.
  4. Engage with prospective residents and their families, both on-site and off-site, to facilitate the move-in process.
  5. Assist in conducting tours of the community for prospective residents, whether scheduled or walk-in.
  6. Support the planning and execution of marketing events both within the facility and in the surrounding community.
  7. Ensure compliance with established safety protocols for personnel and guests, particularly regarding the use of equipment and supplies.
  8. Provide ongoing follow-up after residents move in, addressing any issues promptly to enhance resident satisfaction. Be available to resolve service-related concerns as they arise.
  9. Conduct follow-up communications with all residents, family members, and referral sources.
  10. Maintain the CRM database by entering prospect and move-in information promptly. Complete required daily and weekly census reports.
  11. Participate in training programs to meet state, federal, and company standards.
  12. Uphold a clean and professional work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions, adhere to instructions, and accept constructive feedback. They should possess strong interpersonal skills to interact tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and government representatives. The role requires effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to engage with supervisors, staff, residents, and families.

As a Platinum Service Ambassador, the candidate will complete both the Platinum Service and Service Recovery Training Programs and will be required to participate in a brief Ambassador Training Seminar, which will be provided by the organization.
Education and Experience

A preference for candidates with at least one year of college education or equivalent experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Outlook) and experience with relational databases is preferred.
