Role Summary:

The Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL) is a recognized Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) dedicated to delivering trauma-informed and recovery-focused services to individuals facing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Our approach emphasizes safety, choice, collaboration, trust, and empowerment for both clients and staff. We cater to the communities of Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman Counties, employing a model that is consumer-involved, consumer-engaged, and consumer-driven. Our comprehensive care strategy addresses both physical and mental health needs through various programs, including mobile crisis intervention, intensive case management, ongoing counseling, community support, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and leadership teams, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
  • Manage communications, including screening calls and visitors, and triaging requests for meetings.
  • Coordinate and maintain the Executive Director's calendar, ensuring efficient scheduling of meetings and appointments.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for meetings, including agendas and minutes, while tracking action items.
  • Conduct independent research and compile reports, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of agency contracts, monitoring deadlines and ensuring compliance.
  • Support various boards and committees by drafting agendas, preparing meeting materials, and recording minutes.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements and logistics for the Executive Director and other executives as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications and documentation.
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Education:
Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential responsibilities of this role, including:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field with one year of senior-level administrative experience, or
  • Associate degree in business or a related field with three years of senior-level administrative experience, or
  • High school diploma or GED with five years of senior-level administrative experience.

Additionally, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and pass all required background checks.
