Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL) is a recognized Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) dedicated to delivering trauma-informed and recovery-focused services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges and substance use disorders. Our approach emphasizes safety, choice, collaboration, trust, and empowerment for both clients and staff. Serving the communities of Hood River, Wasco, and Sherman Counties, MCCFL adopts a consumer-driven model to provide comprehensive care addressing both physical and mental health needs.
Role Summary:
The Executive Assistant is responsible for performing a range of intricate and confidential administrative tasks to support the Executive Director, the Tri-County Board, and the Leadership Teams. This role requires independent judgment, discretion, and initiative, along with exceptional communication skills to manage various routine and non-routine situations on behalf of the Executive Director's Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in supporting executive leaders, disseminating policies, and explaining procedures to staff and the public.
- Conduct independent research, compile data, and prepare comprehensive reports on a regular basis.
- Manage correspondence between internal and external parties, ensuring effective communication and workflow.
- Screen and direct calls and visitors, triaging requests for meetings with the Executive Director.
- Oversee the calendars of the Executive Director and Deputy Director, coordinating meetings and agendas efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain contracts, ensuring timely notifications and tracking of deadlines.
- Organize meetings for the Executive Director and the Executive team, including logistics, agendas, and minute-taking.
- Plan and coordinate seminars and conferences, managing travel arrangements as needed.
- Provide administrative support to various boards, including drafting agendas and preparing meeting packets.
- Maintain organized files and records for the Executive Director, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
- Assist with audits by gathering required materials and coordinating logistics.
- Respond to inquiries from staff and the public regarding agency information.
- Support other departments as assigned, ensuring smooth operations across the organization.
- Review and format legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research, organizing findings and monitoring deadlines.
- Maintain regular attendance and uphold professional communication standards.
