As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of patients by guiding them through the intricate process of accessing their specialized medications. You will lead a dedicated team committed to delivering outstanding service to numerous patients daily. Additionally, you will serve as the program's subject matter expert, providing valuable insights to clients to maximize the program's effectiveness in supporting patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Grasp client goals and integrate them into program service objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with contracted service levels in program execution.
  • Oversee the management of client service requests, ensuring timely completion.
  • Implement and maintain client-specific operational guidelines.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to service delivery and efficiency.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights aligned with client goals.

Financial Oversight:

  • Track and report on factors affecting the program's financial outlook.
  • Compile activity summaries for the preparation and review of client invoices.

Team Development:

  • Identify and nurture talent for open positions, fostering internal career growth.
  • Collaborate with HR to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Work closely with Human Resources to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance team retention.

Client Engagement:

  • Prepare and analyze operational results specific to clients.
  • Lead the preparation of client business review meetings, showcasing operational metrics and insights.
  • Act as the primary contact for program-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of adverse events and product complaints as per client guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; a Master's degree is highly regarded.
  • Experience in personnel and team management is essential; managing managers is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with specialty drug markets, health insurance claims, and product commercialization is beneficial.
  • Experience leading customer service teams is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is desirable.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time exempt role, requiring on-site presence.
  • The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends for events.
