As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the experiences of our patients by guiding them through the intricate process of accessing their specialized medications. Your leadership will inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding service to numerous patients daily. Additionally, you will serve as the program's subject matter expert, providing strategic insights to optimize program effectiveness for ongoing patient assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Comprehend client goals and integrate them into program service objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with contracted service levels in program execution.
  • Oversee the management of client service requests, ensuring timely completion.
  • Implement and maintain client-specific operational guidelines.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to service scope and efficiency.
  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights that align with client goals.

Financial Oversight:

  • Track and report on elements affecting the program's financial outlook.
  • Compile activity summaries for the preparation and review of client invoices.

Team Development:

  • Identify and nurture talent for open roles, fostering internal career growth.
  • Collaborate with HR to maintain optimal staffing levels.
  • Proactively build a pipeline of potential candidates.
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance team skills and retention.

Client Engagement:

  • Prepare and analyze operational results tailored to client needs.
  • Take charge of client business review meetings, presenting operational metrics and insights.
  • Act as the primary contact for program-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of adverse events and product complaints as per client instructions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; a Master's degree is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in personnel management is required; experience overseeing managers is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the specialty drug market and health insurance claims processing is beneficial.
  • Experience leading customer service teams is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin is advantageous.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time exempt role.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
  • The position requires regular communication and computer usage, with the ability to type accurately.
  • Employees may need to travel as required.
