Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and driven individual to join our team as a Biosciences Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, specifically targeting prominent universities.

Your contributions will be vital in enhancing sales and fostering relationships with our esteemed clients across academic, governmental, and healthcare sectors. This position offers the chance to collaborate with a high-performing team, refine your sales expertise, and support our ambitious sales objectives.

Your primary focus will be to stimulate growth within our Biosciences portfolio, which includes protein, cell, and molecular biology products, as well as specialized equipment such as PCR systems, fluorescent microscopes, and flow cytometers.

This role demands a candidate with a proven sales background and a robust technical understanding, coupled with the ability to empathize with clients and resolve their challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities proactively
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse customer base
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute sales strategies effectively
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of key accounts successfully
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs
  • Prepare and present sales proposals to potential clients
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in all sales activities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (PhD preferred)
  • Demonstrated success in sales, preferably within the life sciences sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in CRM software and sales tools
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for achieving sales goals
