Job Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and skilled Commercial Insurance Account Executive to enhance our team. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to engage with a dynamic, results-driven group. The ideal candidate will focus on identifying and securing new business revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and successfully acquire new business revenue from qualified prospects and existing clients.
- Manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, ensuring all client service needs are met and exceeded.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and insurance requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate the seamless transition of new clients.
- Review and analyze clients' existing insurance coverage and provide recommendations for enhancement.
- Oversee the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating with carriers for optimal terms.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Work alongside underwriters and adjusters to manage claims and risk management concerns.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and products to deliver the best advice and service to clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management, particularly within commercial insurance or property & casualty insurance.
- Valid state Property and Casualty License.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- An insurance designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU is preferred.
- Experience with AMS 360 is required.
This position is office-based with no remote options available.
