DashMart, a concept by DoorDash, offers customers the convenience of ordering essential items and prepared meals through the DoorDash app. Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for preparing, picking, and packing these orders in a physical convenience store setting. Dashmart Kitchens is an innovative concept that focuses on preparing food on demand within a Dashmart.

Shifts Available:
 Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend: Full-Time

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee the operations of a commercial kitchen, ensuring the efficient preparation of various food concepts while delivering exceptional customer service. You will manage daily food order execution, uphold culinary standards, and mentor kitchen staff. Responsibilities include assisting with team scheduling, inventory management, order tracking, and all facets of running a professional kitchen.

  • Take Ownership: Be responsible for kitchen processes, including safety, cleanliness, quality, and training, while striving to enhance quality and related metrics for optimal customer outcomes.
  • Daily Management: Oversee ordering and receiving from suppliers, ensure compliant storage of products, prepare customer orders, and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Operational Improvement: Provide suggestions to enhance quality and customer experience.
  • Flexibility: When kitchen tasks are completed, assist with warehouse operations such as inventory receiving, organizing workspaces, packing customer orders, and facilitating smooth Dasher pickups.

  • You possess 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen setting, including fast-casual, QSR, and from-scratch establishments.
  • You can obtain and maintain ServSafe certification and are proactive in maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
  • You are highly organized, thrive under pressure, and execute tasks with speed, precision, and attention to detail.
  • You excel in a collaborative team environment.
  • You are capable of performing warehouse duties, including lifting up to 40 or 50 pounds (as per site requirements), with or without accommodations.
Compensation

The base hourly pay range for this position is outlined below. Compensation may vary in different locations.

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including skills, relevant experience, and specific work location. For remote roles, base salary is adjusted according to the employee's work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for further details.
