Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Management Team in ensuring the restaurant operates smoothly and effectively.
  • Go above and beyond to guarantee a positive experience for our guests by addressing issues and opportunities as they arise.
  • Support the Management Team in developing and leading initiatives that enhance sales, profitability, and overall store performance.
  • Oversee cash handling responsibilities to ensure secure and accurate transactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reports, documentation, and other information required by support office departments.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards while ensuring quality is upheld.
  • Keep a thorough understanding of all recipes, products, and production procedures.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager with purchasing food products, ensuring correct invoicing, storage, and sealing to maintain quality and freshness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
  • Motivate and lead all Team Members in alignment with our Torchys Values.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management (full service, fast food, or convenience) preferred.
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager ServSafe certifications.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week with flexible hours to effectively manage restaurant operations.
  • Open to varied work schedules depending on business needs.
  • Competency in basic computer functions.
  • Understanding of training and development concepts.
  • Ability to foster teamwork among staff.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and walk for long durations.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
