DashMart, a concept by DoorDash, serves as a convenient store where customers can order everyday items and prepared meals through the DoorDash app. Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for preparing, selecting, and packaging these orders in a physical retail environment. Dashmart Kitchens is an innovative initiative focused on preparing food on demand within a Dashmart.

Shifts Available:
 Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend: Full-Time

About the Role

In this role, you will oversee and manage a commercial kitchen that prepares various food concepts, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and promptly while providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for the daily execution of food orders, upholding culinary standards, and mentoring staff. Your duties will also include assisting with team scheduling, inventory management, order tracking, and all facets of running a professional kitchen.

  • Ownership. Take charge of kitchen processes, safety, cleanliness, quality, and training, striving to enhance quality and related metrics to achieve optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Daily Management. Handle ordering and receiving from suppliers, store products in compliance with kitchen procedures, prepare customer orders, and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
  • Operational Improvement. Offer suggestions to enhance our quality and customer experience.
  • Flexibility. When kitchen tasks are completed, assist with warehouse operations including inventory receiving, organizing workspaces, packing customer orders, and ensuring smooth Dasher pickups.

  • You possess 3 years of leadership experience in a high-volume kitchen setting, including fast-casual, QSR, and from-scratch establishments
  • You can obtain and maintain ServSafe certification and proactively ensure kitchen cleanliness
  • You are highly organized, thrive under pressure, and execute tasks with speed, precision, and attention to detail
  • You excel in a collaborative team environment
  • You are capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 or 50 pounds (depending on site requirements) with or without accommodations
Compensation Details

The base hourly pay range for this position is outlined below. Compensation may vary in different locations.

Actual pay within the range will be determined based on factors such as skills, relevant experience, and specific work location. For remote roles, base salary is adjusted according to the employee's work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for further details.
