Job Overview

Veterans Inc., a leading provider of services to veterans and their families across New England, is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and skilled individual to take on the role of Operations Coordinator and contribute significantly to our mission.

This role, under the guidance of the Senior Operations Manager, is essential in facilitating the Operations Team's efforts to enhance daily business functions, ensure compliance, and promote effective communication within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the organization for various agency evaluations and inspections.
  • Update and maintain departmental guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and protocols.
  • Engage in quarterly site visits to assess compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and regularly review vendor contracts, leases, and service agreements.
  • Act as a liaison for external vendors and contractors, coordinating quarterly meetings and obtaining project estimates.
  • Manage inventory for cleaning and emergency supplies, assisting with procurement and ordering tasks.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Operations Team, including organizing meetings, taking minutes, and handling correspondence.
  • Participate in agency meetings and events as required.
  • Assist in setting up facilities for meetings, training sessions, and events.
  • Support the Facilities and Maintenance team with various tasks and projects.
  • Collaborate with the IT Team on inventory management, inspections, and project administration.
  • Work with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of activities.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in a relevant trade program is preferred.
  • OSHA 10 Certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to pass a background check is mandatory.
  • Compliance with Veterans Inc. COVID-19 Vaccination Policy is required, with exemptions considered.
