Position Summary for Operator – Assembler III

The Operator – Assembler III plays a crucial role in operating and managing designated equipment and machinery to produce parts or products for the medical device industry. This position encompasses responsibilities such as quality assurance, assembly, packaging, labeling, and the movement of products.

Available Shifts:

  • 1st shift: 6:30am-3pm Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities of the Operator – Assembler III

  • Conduct inspections, trimming, cleaning, and packaging of products according to customer specifications.
  • Utilize the Bill of Material (BOM) to gather necessary materials.
  • Interpret and comprehend Operational Quality Inspections (OQI's).
  • Employ measuring tools such as gauge pins, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Mix chemicals and materials as needed.
  • Ensure the quality of produced items.
  • Perform periodic checks on output quality.
  • Complete assigned tasks involving hot stamping, sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding, and silicone back filling.
  • Recognize and report faulty equipment promptly.
  • Engage in assembly and secondary production tasks.

Requirements for Operator – Assembler III

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with microscope usage.
  • Familiarity with clean room environment protocols and regulations.
  • Understanding of machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, prints, and IP's.
  • Basic math skills and concepts.
  • Capability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in a cleanroom setting.
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
