Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our expanding manufacturing team. This permanent role presents an exciting opportunity to influence the growth and success of our operations. The Plant Manager will oversee daily plant activities, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives while managing budgets and controlling costs. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in manufacturing, project management, team leadership, operations, inventory oversight, budgeting, cost management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily plant operations, ensuring production targets are achieved and quality benchmarks are maintained.
  • Establish and uphold safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and ongoing improvement.
  • Develop and oversee the plant budget, ensuring efficient production and resource utilization.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal availability of raw materials and finished products.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance measures to ensure products meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including sales, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape.


Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a plant management capacity within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record in managing safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience overseeing multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control practices.
  • Proven success in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement timely solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, effectively conveying information and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications in Project Management, Quality Assurance, or related fields are advantageous.
