Overview:
The Swiss Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by overseeing and managing the operation of machinery utilized in the production of high-quality products. This position may also involve setting up equipment and performing preventative maintenance on more complex tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comply with Integer Holdings Corporation's core values and adhere to all safety, environmental, security, and quality standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operational tasks, completing assignments, and resolving routine issues with some independence.
- Engage in equipment setup and manage more intricate assignments as needed.
- Load materials into specialized tools and execute finishing processes.
- Read and interpret operating manuals, maintenance guidelines, and procedural documentation.
- Conduct visual inspections of components using microscopes and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Follow established documentation protocols for product manufacturing and complete necessary paperwork.
- Maintain and clean machinery as required to ensure optimal performance.
- Enhance skill sets through on-the-job training, cross-training, and educational opportunities.
- Participate in team initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a technical degree or certification is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing setting, preferably within the medical device industry.
Skills:
Proficient understanding of technical drawings and blueprints, with the ability to interpret detailed information. Capable of working with small precision components and following intricate instructions in English. Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques is essential.
