Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our growing manufacturing team. This permanent role offers a unique chance to influence the success and development of our operations. The Plant Manager will oversee the daily functions of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and spearheading continuous improvement strategies while managing budgets and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily plant operations, ensuring production targets are achieved and quality benchmarks are maintained.
  • Establish and uphold safety protocols to create a secure work environment for all personnel.
  • Direct and mentor a team of manufacturing staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and ongoing enhancement.
  • Develop and oversee the plant's financial plan, ensuring efficient production and resource utilization.
  • Supervise inventory processes, maintaining optimal stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
  • Implement and manage quality control systems to guarantee that products meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, identifying areas for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Collaborate with departments such as sales, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and competitive dynamics.

Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a plant management position within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record in enforcing safety standards in a manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, fostering teamwork and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
  • Comprehensive understanding of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control.
  • History of driving continuous improvement efforts.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on timely and effective solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of clearly articulating information and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Certifications in Project Management, Quality Assurance, or similar fields are advantageous.
