Manufacturing Equipment Operator

The primary role of the Machine Operator is to manage and oversee the operation of machinery utilized in the production of our products.
Responsibilities include:
- Adhering to Integer's values and complying with all safety, environmental, security, and quality standards, including regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrating proficiency in the discipline, completing tasks, and resolving routine issues with some independence.
- Participating in equipment setup and handling more complex tasks.
- Loading materials into specific tools and executing finishing operations.
- Reading and adhering to operating manuals and maintenance guidelines.
- Conducting visual inspections with the aid of microscopes to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Following established documentation protocols for manufacturing processes.
- Completing necessary documentation accurately.
- Maintaining and cleaning machinery as required.
- Enhancing skills through on-the-job training, cross-training, and educational opportunities.
- Engaging in team initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
- Performing additional functions as needed.
Education & Experience:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred.
Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience operating machinery in a regulated manufacturing setting; experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
Special Skills: Proficient understanding of technical drawings and blueprints, with the ability to interpret information. Competence in working with small precision components. Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions in English. Basic knowledge of visual and dimensional inspection techniques is essential.
