Job Summary

The Assembly Operations Specialist is responsible for operating and maintaining specified equipment and machines to create precision components and assemblies for the medical device industry. This role requires attention to detail, quality control, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and package products to customer specifications
  • Use Bill of Material (BOM) to pull required materials
  • Read and understand Operational Quality Inspections (OQI's)
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including measuring devices and machinery
  • Perform assembly and secondary production operations
  • Ensure quality of products and identify and report any defects
  • Complete assigned tasks and meet production deadlines

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Knowledge of clean room environment procedures and regulations
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, prints, and IP's
  • Basic math skills and ability to use measuring equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a cleanroom environment
  • 2-4 years of manufacturing experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
