Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing facility. This permanent role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our operations. The Plant Manager will be tasked with managing the daily activities of the plant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and spearheading initiatives for continuous improvement while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the facility, ensuring production targets are achieved and quality benchmarks are maintained.
- Establish and uphold safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment for all personnel.
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing staff, promoting a culture of collaboration and ongoing enhancement.
- Develop and oversee the plant's financial plan, ensuring cost-effective production and optimal resource utilization.
- Supervise inventory control, ensuring adequate levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Implement and manage quality control measures, ensuring products meet or exceed client expectations.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, identifying areas for increased efficiency and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless operations and timely product delivery.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and the competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in a plant management position within the manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in enforcing safety measures in a manufacturing context.
- Demonstrated capability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of teamwork and improvement.
- Strong project management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of inventory management, budgeting, and cost efficiency.
- Proven success in implementing continuous improvement strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and execute timely solutions.
- Strong communication skills, capable of clearly articulating information and expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in Project Management, Quality Assurance, or similar fields are advantageous.
