This position will focus on managing quality-related activities throughout the development and production phases, as well as facilitating support for design and manufacturing modifications. The successful candidate will possess expertise in Swiss Machining or Thermoplastics, along with a solid foundation in contract manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in research and development design and engineering initiatives
- Work closely with contract manufacturing partners on non-conformance issues and process optimization
- Create process documentation and perform PFMEAs
- Establish operational specifications and inspection methodologies
- Draft, evaluate, and execute quality management procedures
- Ensure product adherence to regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience in quality engineering
- Familiarity with medical device industry standards and regulations
- Background in machining or precision manufacturing
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously
Compensation: Competitive base salary ranging from $90K to $110K, along with quarterly performance bonuses.
