Job Overview
As a Guest Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a warm welcome and seamless registration process for our guests. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional service throughout their stay and efficiently managing their accounts upon departure. Key responsibilities include guest registration, reservation management, and fulfilling concierge duties. You will strive to provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, enhancing their experience while maximizing room revenue and occupancy rates.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required; relevant college coursework is advantageous.
- Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Possess a positive demeanor and a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Quickly assess situations and select appropriate courses of action.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in identifying, preventing, and resolving workplace issues.
- Strong listening skills to understand and clarify concerns raised by guests and colleagues.
- Basic understanding of financial information and arithmetic functions.
- Proficient in reading, comprehending, and drafting simple instructions and correspondence.
- Logical thinking to define problems, gather information, and interpret data.
- Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Understanding of hotel products and guest services.
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, adhering to uniform policies.
- Ensure regular attendance in accordance with company standards and scheduling needs.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Greet and welcome all guests at the Front Desk, maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Operate the telephone switchboard efficiently, meeting performance standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests for information, mail, and messages courteously.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
- Establish and maintain effective communication and teamwork with colleagues across departments.
- Stay informed about rates, packages, special promotions, and in-house groups.
- Gather necessary information for room reservations and follow established procedures.
- Familiarize yourself with company policies and hospitality terminology.
- Assist in emergency procedures as required.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Comprehend and operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system.
- Ensure the logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages to guests.
- Utilize proper communication etiquette when interacting with other associates.
- Deliver guest items such as luggage, newspapers, and amenities as requested.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and local events.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to overall cleanliness and safety in the hotel.
