About the Role

At Ulta Beauty, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Beauty Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, providing expert hair and makeup services, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Engage with guests, consult on their hair and makeup needs, and recommend products and services to meet their expectations.
  • Service Delivery: Provide high-quality hair and makeup services, including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
  • Sales and Product Knowledge: Meet or exceed sales goals, demonstrate business acumen, and stay informed about new and existing industry trends, products, and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with skin therapists and the retail team to provide a total-store and well-rounded guest experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhere to safety and sanitation procedures, and follow established service protocols.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology License: Must have a valid cosmetology license.
  • Experience: Previous relevant salon experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in latest salon techniques, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
