Job Overview

As a Regional Sales Executive at EDIS Group, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth and success by effectively managing and developing your assigned region to optimize revenue and achieve growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong customer relationships and ensuring streamlined sales operations within your region. You will create sales strategies, analyze market data, identify sales opportunities, and address customer inquiries to enhance and expand your territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a specific region by identifying potential clients, contractors, and distributors, and formulating a strategic plan for effective engagement.
  • Actively seek and connect with new clients, contractors, and distributors within the region to broaden our market reach and boost sales.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting or surpassing sales targets, including identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Prepare estimates and proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Pursue key accounts diligently.
  • Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Plan and execute sales initiatives with distributor partners.
  • Educate clients and prospects on product features, advantages, and competitive differentiators.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, customer service, and production, to relay customer needs, market trends, and competitor insights.

Customer Engagement:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, contractors, and distributors through consistent communication, follow-ups, sales calls, product demonstrations, and in-person meetings.
  • Provide product and technical training to enhance understanding and effectively promote products and associated digital solutions.
  • Work alongside representatives, sales teams, engineering, and production to resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Analytics, Research, and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress towards goals using CRM systems.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market dynamics, and competitor activities to management.
  • Monitor and manage expenses within the assigned region to ensure optimal resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years of territory sales experience in the HVAC/hydronics or closely related industry.
  • Experience in channel management is essential.

Travel & Work Environment:

  • Frequent travel to engage with clients, attend industry events, and visit company locations – approximately 70% of the time.
  • Home office/remote working environment.
  • Ability to drive long distances.
  • Capability to lift and move product displays weighing up to 50 lbs.
