Job Overview

REGIONAL SALES EXECUTIVES: NEW YORK METRO

REPORTS TO: VICE PRESIDENT OF GLOBAL SALES

This role is primarily accountable for GAT Sport's wholesale (retail) operations within the designated territory by acquiring and expanding wholesale partnerships, providing support through distribution, direct engagement, or corporate collaborations. Candidates must reside in the New York Metro area.

Local residency in the New York Metro area is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue all relevant wholesale (retail) opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Establish and expand accounts in the designated region.
  • Actively engage in significant deals and seek necessary approvals from management.
  • Achieve designated revenue targets.
  • Provide comprehensive support services for all accounts in the region, including store visits, demonstrations, training sessions, and seminars as appropriate.
  • Participate in local, regional, and national trade shows as requested by management.
  • Submit annual advertising/marketing/promotional budget for the region to the Vice President of Global Sales.
  • Manage expenses to remain within budget.
  • Frequent travel by car within the region.
  • Air travel may be required for trade shows, training sessions, and customer engagements.
  • Attendance at company meetings approximately three times a year is a critical function of this role (subject to change as necessary).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales and activity reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Team Skills and Communication:

  • Develop strategies for successful account acquisition and growth.
  • Oversee all existing and newly secured accounts from both a tactical and strategic perspective.
  • Conduct training for newly acquired accounts, including staff training on GAT Sport products and providing support services to enhance revenue within those accounts.
  • Be knowledgeable about GAT Sport's product offerings.
  • Promote the brand and work to prevent accounts from reselling GAT's products on third-party platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the supplement industry is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in outside sales within the sports nutrition sector.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel to customer headquarters and trade shows across the United States.
  • Availability to work some weekends.

The compensation package includes a base salary and commission.
