Position Summary

The Regional Sales Executive (RSE) is tasked with leading and managing a team of Division Sales Managers within a designated territory. The RSE plays a crucial role in executing the strategic vision and initiatives set forth by the leadership team at Congo Brands. A key focus for the RSE is to cultivate, develop, and sustain relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders of essential Distributor Partners in their region.

Core Responsibilities

  • The RSE is accountable for the budget and performance metrics (volume, distribution, market share, etc.) for their designated area.
  • Establish a communication framework with Distributor Partners to effectively implement Congo Brands' business strategies and initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication among Distributor Managers (DM), Division Sales Managers (DSM), and Sales Execution Managers (SEM) to ensure alignment on strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor and achieve established KPI targets for the region, including account management, distribution, and additional retail placements.
  • Foster and maintain enduring, robust relationships within the assigned region by delivering exceptional customer service and engagement with all distributors.
  • Develop and disseminate best practices for implementation across the network.
  • Collaborate with other departments to evaluate performance and share best practices.
  • Train, inspire, lead, and develop the sales team to optimize their potential and outcomes.
  • Ensure that distributor partners and DM(s), SEM(s), DSM(s) are equipped with the necessary information and tools to meet and exceed their goals.
  • Promote a dynamic team environment that encourages positive attitudes and collaborative interactions.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Over 10 years of experience in the traditional off-premise sector.
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading sales teams.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and team-building skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the off-premise channel.
  • A dedication to talent management and development with a proven track record of building and nurturing talent.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with Field Force automation tools.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in management reporting and budget oversight.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • This role necessitates a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon acceptance of a job offer.
  • A valid Driver's License is mandatory.
