About the Role:

DAP is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day sales activities and account responsibilities to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Strategic Plans: Effectively utilize marketing programs, leverage field resources, product training, event marketing, and outside sales work-withs to achieve sales targets.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Regularly call on all dealers and prospects in assigned area to achieve sales targets for all product categories.
  • Provide Support to Dealers: Provide support to dealers on product knowledge, end user work, event marketing, and merchandising.
  • Communicate Opportunities and Issues: Communicate opportunities, issues, trends to management and marketing.
  • Establish Relationships: Establish relationships with Dealers, Regional & National Wholesalers, and Key End Users.
  • Manage T&E and Promotional Budgets: Effectively manage T&E and Promotional Budgets.
  • Work National 2-Step Wholesale Shows: Work national 2-Step Wholesale shows that operate within your territory.
  • Other Administrative Duties: Perform other administrative duties required by DAP to succeed in this role.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 Years of Relevant Sales Experience: 3-5 years of relevant sales experience; experience in the home improvement industry preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree.
  • Self-Starter: Self-starter.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
