Field Service Engineer - Probes Team Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tests and validate equipment that has been repaired or returned.
  • Run samples, analyze results, and document findings comprehensively.
  • Perform requalification of utilized systems, alongside preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Offer technical support for testing, installation, servicing, and repairing probes and related equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service and Support Center, Regional Service Management, and Applications Specialists.
  • Install new or modified systems or accessories at client facilities, ensuring full operational functionality per specifications.
  • Educate and train clients on the basic operation of the equipment.
  • Secure customer approval for installation and repair sign-off.
  • Re-qualify the entire instrument post-service repair by executing complex compound runs for verification.
  • Act as an effective communication bridge between the customer and the company to guarantee satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related Biotech discipline.

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with NMR equipment operation and troubleshooting.

Proficient in running samples and interpreting Spectra reports.

Strong technical aptitude in analytical instrumentation.

Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage with scientists holding advanced degrees.

Demonstrated capability to read and comprehend technical drawings and related materials for troubleshooting and diagnosis.

Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with strong skills in verbal communication, technical data interpretation, and presentation.

Excellent organizational abilities, capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks, multitasking, and meeting deadlines in a customer-centric environment.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 75 lbs and transport equipment exceeding 300 lbs, along with reasonable dexterity for manual tasks in confined spaces.

Compliance with safety standards and practices is essential.

Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License are required.

U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is mandatory.

Maintaining a valid passport for potential domestic and international travel is necessary.
