- Model and Optimize Material Process Flow: Use data analysis and modeling techniques to optimize material process flow and improve on-time delivery.
- Contribute to Research and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and select tooling, fixturing, and gauging for the manufacturing process.
- Oversee Equipment Modifications: Ensure that equipment modifications, upgrades, and automation are implemented efficiently and effectively.
- Lead a Zero Injury Culture: Develop and implement safe job procedures to promote a zero-injury culture.
- Experience with Deep Drawing, Metal Spinning, Flowforming, or Coldworking Processes: Proven experience working with deep drawing, metal spinning, flowforming, or other coldworking processes.
- Minimum Five Years' Experience in Engineering: A minimum of five years' experience working in engineering in the manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering: A bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with 2D and/or 3D Solid Works Software: Proficiency in using 2D and/or 3D Solid Works software.
- Ability to Interpret Technical Drawings: Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of Metals and Materials: In-depth knowledge of metals and materials.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including flowforming, deep drawing, metal spinning, CNC machining, non-destructive testing, and mechanical testing.
- Experience Working in an AS9100 Facility: Experience working in an AS9100 facility.
- Excellent Interpersonal, Written, and Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to Multitask with High Attention to Detail: Ability to multitask with a high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
