Job Overview

Lead Test Engineering Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of tasks to evaluate, diagnose, and repair electromechanical devices.
  • Install software and establish Ethernet connectivity.
  • Perform troubleshooting at both assembly and component levels.
  • Utilize multi-meters and leak detection instruments.
  • Engage with suppliers for technical support.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Gather and analyze test data; execute root cause analysis on malfunctioning units.
  • Document and interpret testing results.
  • Potentially design and create testing fixtures.
  • May mentor junior test technicians.
  • Review and annotate testing documentation.
  • Execute mechanical evaluations on prototypes and existing products to ensure compliance with safety and design standards.
  • Follow specifications, technical manuals, schematics, and both written and verbal instructions.
  • Oversee and conduct all Design Verification Testing.
  • Proactively identify issues and propose solutions.
  • Operate, inspect, and test laboratory electro-mechanical equipment, including multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ensure all measurement, inspection, and testing laboratory equipment is calibrated according to established schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma; technical training is required.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with vacuum systems and Swagelok fittings is essential.
