Job Summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director of Business Development to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our client portfolio in the Southeast and Texas regions by building strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, conducting prospect research, generating quality leads, and developing prospects to drive new business sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth in the Southeast and Texas regions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans and strategies
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the foodservice industry
  • Proven track record of success in business development and sales growth
  • Strong relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
