Candidate Profile

TotalEnergies is in search of skilled accounting professionals to enhance our finance team.

Qualifications / Experience required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the accounting sector of a publicly listed corporation, ideally within the energy or oil & gas industry. Experience with Big 4 firms is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of US GAAP and IFRS. Strong knowledge of SOX compliance is essential.
  • Experience with SAP / MBC or similar software. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Analytical thinker with meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.
Activities

Key responsibilities:
  • Execute month-end closing tasks, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and related processes promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with the Shared Service Center and local teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Engage with various departments within and outside the finance division to serve as a liaison.
  • Contribute to process enhancement initiatives aimed at achieving continuous operational excellence.
