The demand for electricity is projected to outpace the overall global energy demand in the coming years. The International Energy Agency's Sustainable Development Scenario indicates that renewable sources will constitute over 35% of the global energy mix by 2040. To facilitate this expansion, our goal is to achieve 100 gigawatts of gross installed renewable power generation capacity by 2030, focusing on the development of our solar and wind energy initiatives worldwide.

What You Will Bring:
  • A bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • OR a combination of education and related experience
  • A degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline
  • 2-4 years of pertinent industry experience, preferably in renewable energy project finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of economic principles (Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Multiple on Invested Capital)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Comfort in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling expertise
  • Professionalism and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across a global organization
  • A genuine passion for promoting the integration of renewable energies into the global energy landscape

Activities

Key responsibilities for a Financial Analyst include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing presentations for potential financing and equity partners.
  • Conducting financial modeling for renewable projects (Solar, Offshore Wind, or Battery/Storage) in accordance with financing agreements and consultant reports.
  • Overseeing external consultants (independent engineers, legal advisors) and managing project data rooms.
  • Optimizing project financials.
  • Creating internal committee presentations (financial statements, economic results) for senior management regarding investment decisions
  • Issuing and monitoring bank guarantees
