Candidate Profile

TotalEnergies is looking for experienced Financial Reporting Analysts to enhance our financial team.

Qualifications / Experience required:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm, ideally complemented by experience in the accounting department of a publicly traded organization.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or Finance. CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS, with a comprehensive knowledge of SOX compliance.
  • Experience with SAP or similar financial systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills.
Activities

Key responsibilities:
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for US entities in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP. Oversee the review of financial results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Manage, review, and disseminate regular management reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Offer technical accounting guidance to TotalEnergies and its subsidiaries. Draft technical accounting memoranda as necessary to support accounting practices under IFRS.
  • Coordinate with the external audit team for the management and execution of quarterly financial audits.
  • Address ad hoc requests and engage in process enhancement initiatives aimed at achieving continuous operational improvement.
