Join TotalEnergies Renewables as a Financial Advisor. This role is a vital addition to our team as we enhance our footprint in the renewable energy sector.

The demand for electricity is projected to grow at a pace that surpasses the overall global energy demand in the upcoming years. According to the International Energy Agency's Sustainable Development Scenario, renewable sources are expected to account for over 35% of the global energy mix by 2040. To facilitate this expansion, our goal is to reach 100 gigawatts of gross installed renewable power generation capacity by 2030, focusing on the development of our solar and wind energy operations worldwide.

What You Will Bring:
  • A bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • OR a suitable combination of education and experience
  • A university degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of pertinent industry experience, preferably in renewable energy project finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of economic principles (Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Multiple on Invested Capital)
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Comfort in a dynamic, rapidly growing company
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Robust analytical and financial modeling abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the capacity to collaborate with diverse teams across a global organization
  • A strong commitment to promoting the adoption of renewable energy solutions

Activities

Key Responsibilities for a Financial Analyst include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing presentations for potential financing and equity partners.
  • Conducting financial modeling for renewable projects (Solar, Offshore Wind, or Battery/Storage) in accordance with negotiated financing agreements and consultants' reports.
  • Overseeing external consultants (independent engineers, transmission, legal) and managing project data rooms.
  • Optimizing project financials.
  • Preparing internal committee presentations (financial statements, economic outcomes for TotalEnergies, sensitivities) for senior management regarding investment decisions
  • Issuing and tracking bank guarantees
