Join TotalEnergies Renewables as a Financial Advisor. This role is a key addition to our team as we enhance our focus on sustainable energy solutions.

With the increasing demand for electricity projected to outpace overall energy consumption in the upcoming years, our goal is to achieve a significant milestone in renewable energy capacity. By 2030, we aim to reach 100 gigawatts of gross installed renewable power generation capacity, focusing on solar and wind energy initiatives globally.

What You Will Bring:
  • A bachelor's degree along with 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • OR a suitable combination of education and experience
  • A degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of industry experience, preferably in renewable energy project finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of economic principles (Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Multiple on Invested Capital)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling expertise
  • Professionalism and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across a global organization
  • A genuine interest in promoting the adoption of renewable energy solutions

Activities

Key responsibilities for a Financial Analyst include:
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing presentations for potential financing and equity partners.
  • Developing financial models for renewable projects (Solar, Offshore Wind, or Battery/Storage) in accordance with financing agreements and consultant reports.
  • Overseeing external consultants (independent engineers, legal advisors) and managing project data rooms.
  • Optimizing financial aspects of project economics.
  • Preparing presentations for internal committees (financial statements, economic outcomes for TotalEnergies, sensitivity analyses) for senior management regarding investment decisions.
  • Issuing and tracking bank guarantees.
