Role Responsibilities:

Your primary responsibility will be to underwrite both new and renewal Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Commercial Real Estate (CRE) credit requests. This includes:
1. Evaluating working capital lines of credit, asset-based lines of credit, commercial real estate loans (both Owner Occupied and Investor), and equipment financing for businesses with revenues exceeding $5 million.
2. Collaborating with Client Solutions Managers (CSMs) and Relationship Managers to present comprehensive findings, including business rationale and risk mitigation strategies, to secure credit approvals and fulfill client requirements.
3. Analyzing business operations, industry trends, financial data, and other relevant credit information to identify key risks that may affect repayment capabilities.
4. Preparing clear, concise, and accurate credit recommendations, supported by quantitative analysis within the underwriting narrative.
5. Monitoring borrower financial performance in accordance with loan agreements and ensuring compliance with Bank Guidelines.

Additionally, you may oversee the work of junior commercial underwriters or credit analysts, ensuring high-quality submissions and adherence to regulatory standards. You will also be expected to stay informed about regulatory changes and may be called upon to mentor or train others in the field.


Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial underwriting or credit analysis, or relevant lending experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced understanding of credit policies, procedures, and documentation.


Work Environment:
This position requires full onsite presence.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base salary and comprehensive benefits. The salary range for this position is $76,000 to $109,433.70, with the final offer dependent on various non-discriminatory factors.
