Scrap Territory Business Development Manager

As a Scrap Territory Manager with STEINERT GmbH, you will be responsible for driving new equipment sales and customer development in the scrap market on the US West Coast Region. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a proven track record of sales success, and a deep understanding of the scrap metal industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth in the assigned market and territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, prospects, and partners to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of sales, pricing, and activity reports in company CRM, Salesforce.
- Conduct proposal presentations and RFP responses to secure new business opportunities.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Promote STEINERT's products and services to customers, prospects, and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales and customer development goals are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to stay ahead in the market.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Business.
- Proven sales experience in the scrap metal market, with a strong track record of sales success.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, with occasional international travel to Germany for technical training and customer factory visits.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, desired.
- Ability to speak Spanish, helpful.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
