Job Summary:

The Administrative Secretary plays a vital role in supporting the department by providing exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and other OSF HealthCare departments. This position requires a high level of competence and professionalism, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handles clerical duties, including record keeping, document preparation, and minute taking.
  • Supports the department by providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintains confidentiality by discussing private/sensitive information only with those who have a need to know.
  • Assists with organizational and prioritizing tasks.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of office clerical experience.
  • Basic level in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree.
  • Proficient with email and calendaring systems.
