Job Overview

Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000

Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years in engineering, with a focus on manufacturing and management experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in a managerial role.

Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess a robust business acumen and proficiency in engineering design software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Role Summary: This position is responsible for ensuring that engineering tasks align with operational objectives. The role requires applying extensive engineering knowledge to conduct analyses for various stakeholders, including customers and suppliers. Effective communication of decisions and analyses to diverse audiences is crucial.

Key Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. A strong sense of urgency, financial accountability, and the ability to manage confidential information are essential. Candidates should exhibit strong technical expertise in both process and general engineering disciplines, along with the capability to manage multiple complex projects independently.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and review engineering projects to achieve routine outputs while promoting continuous improvement.
  • Engage with customer representatives to secure approvals at various project stages.
  • Collaborate with project teams to create engineering drawings.
  • Mentor team members to cultivate a safe and productive work environment focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Work alongside senior leadership to foster a culture of openness, trust, and teamwork.

Specific Duties Include:

  • Overseeing the development of precise material requisitions and manufacturing instructions.
  • Managing the creation of CNC machine programs for efficient product manufacturing.
  • Supervising the design and acquisition of necessary tooling for operational efficiency.
  • Evaluating manufacturing changes for their business implications.
  • Providing assistance to operations as needed.
  • Facilitating complex technical discussions with external parties.
  • Collaborating with estimating teams to prepare feasibility assessments for unique projects.
  • Resolving problems independently and demonstrating conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Aligning engineering efforts with organizational goals and performance metrics.
  • Performing additional duties as required to support the organization.
