Job Responsibilities: As an Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to assess the costs associated with construction projects, ensuring they align with budgetary constraints. Key duties include:
  • Reviewing and interpreting project plans, specifications, and documentation to create detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to secure accurate pricing and ensure competitive bids
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to formulate project timelines and ensure estimates align with project needs
  • Preparing and submitting bids and proposals to clients, including comprehensive cost breakdowns and relevant information
  • Monitoring and managing project expenses to ensure adherence to budget

  • Participating in project meetings and providing ongoing support to project teams as necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline

  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
