Position Summary: An international manufacturer of industrial machinery is in search of a Field Service Technician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment at client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to client sites to conduct repairs or oversee repair work performed by subcontractors and/or client maintenance personnel.
  • Manage projects and perform thorough inspections of machinery.
  • Foster and maintain strong customer relationships while promoting parts sales.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Associate's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant field service experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial machine maintenance.
  • Proficient in working with PLCs and electrical systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to:

  • Intermittently sit, stand, and walk.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds and, with assistance, lift more than 25 pounds.
  • Climb stairs and use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment.
  • Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend at the waist.
  • Communicate effectively through talking and hearing.
