Position Overview:

The Enterprise Sales Account Manager is tasked with acquiring new commercial clients within our service area. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with these clients throughout the duration of their contracts.

The primary focus is to present our comprehensive suite of services, which encompasses voice, internet, cable television, dark fiber, and transport solutions.

This position demands a proactive approach to customer acquisition, particularly targeting non-hotelier businesses. It is essential to understand client needs and provide tailored service recommendations.

The Enterprise Sales Account Manager must effectively communicate the unique value proposition of Orlando Telephone Company Inc. within the competitive landscape.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Market the complete range of services to both new and existing non-hotelier clients.
  • Engage in extensive prospecting, networking, and cold calling on a regular basis.
  • Identify new lead sources and cultivate networking relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a structured sales funnel with qualified opportunities over 30, 60, and 90-day periods.
  • Generate and promote high-margin solutions by focusing on on-net and near-net prospects.
  • Assess sales opportunities and coordinate internal resources for effective sales support.
  • Ensure that new opportunities and sold solutions are delivered on schedule.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in telecommunications or cable television is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Candidates must be prepared for extensive fieldwork, including client visits and prospecting.

Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software, is necessary.

Successful candidates must pass background checks and maintain current auto insurance with specified coverage throughout their employment.
