Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative for Municipal Water Solutions, you will engage with clients, specify products, and connect with engineers involved in the development and construction of municipal water tanks across Florida.

Key Responsibilities:
This role requires a strong emphasis on new business acquisition and managing a wide-ranging territory. It is a remote position that necessitates significant travel, including overnight stays.

Compensation:
The base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $150,000, with potential bonuses. The expected total earnings for the first year are between $130,000 and $160,000.

Sales Territory:
This position operates from a home office, covering the entire state of Florida.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years in sales
- Experience in the water industry, especially with storage systems
- Familiarity with valves, pumps, metering, or control systems is advantageous
- Background with high-end engineering firms and delivering technical presentations

Educational Requirements:
Post-secondary education is required.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Understanding of engineering and construction principles as they relate to sales

Product Overview:
This role focuses on Municipal Water Tank Development and Construction.

Sales Cycle:
The typical sales cycle ranges from two to three years, with project management timelines of less than a year. Average order values range from $1 million to $10 million.

Daily Responsibilities:
- Market penetration and client education in Florida
- Focus on civil engineers and decision-makers involved in municipal water tower specifications and purchases
- Proposal preparation and management of client relationships

- Development and execution of sales strategies
- Conducting presentations and participating in speaking engagements with engineers and owners
- Attendance at relevant trade shows

Travel Requirements:
This position requires 50-75% overnight travel, typically two to three weeks per month.
