- In this position, the Sales Territory Manager will be a driven professional who utilizes sales acumen to enhance profitability and explore new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, determination, and the ability to identify prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the rental of pumps and associated equipment to both new and existing clients.
- Identify, establish, and cultivate new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Manage and enhance relationships with current accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets through strategic, evidence-based sales initiatives.
- Utilize and maintain the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Conduct thorough job site evaluations and ongoing market analysis.
- Provide regular updates and maintain comprehensive records on key accounts.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, Branch Managers, and Rental Service Managers.
- Continuously develop and enhance professional technical knowledge of products and services.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, maintain a positive attitude, and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the construction sector, industrial equipment sales, or pump systems.
- Familiarity with CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.
- A proven track record of achieving sales goals and expanding client bases.
- Willingness and capability to travel to engage with current and prospective clients.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary up to $52,000 per year, with opportunities for bonuses and commissions.
