Position Overview:

The Enterprise Sales Account Manager is tasked with acquiring new commercial clients within our service regions. This role also involves nurturing and expanding relationships with these clients throughout the duration of their contracts. The primary focus is to promote our comprehensive range of services, including voice, internet, cable television, dark fiber, and transport solutions. A strong emphasis on prospecting new clientele, particularly outside the hospitality sector, is essential. The successful candidate will effectively address client needs and provide expert service recommendations. The Account Manager must clearly communicate the unique value proposition of Orlando Telephone Company Inc. in the competitive telecommunications landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market the complete range of services to both new and existing commercial clients.
  • Engage in extensive prospecting, networking, and cold calling on a regular basis.
  • Identify new lead sources and cultivate networking relationships.
  • Develop and maintain a structured sales funnel with qualified opportunities over 30, 60, and 90-day periods.
  • Drive high-margin solution sales by targeting on-net and near-net prospects.
  • Assess sales opportunities and coordinate internal resources for effective sales support.
  • Ensure that new opportunities and sold solutions are executed on schedule with the Service Delivery team.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in telecommunications or cable services is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to spend extended periods in the field prospecting and meeting potential clients.
  • Proficient in computer use, including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
  • Must successfully pass background checks and drug testing.
  • Must maintain current auto insurance with specified coverage throughout employment and provide proof of insurance to Human Resources annually.
