Position Overview:
The Enterprise Sales Account Executive is tasked with acquiring new commercial clients within the service area of Orlando Telephone Company. This role also involves nurturing and expanding relationships with these clients throughout the duration of their contracts. The primary focus is to promote the comprehensive range of services offered, including telephony, internet, cable television, dark fiber, and transport solutions. A strong emphasis is placed on identifying new customer prospects beyond the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will effectively address client needs and provide expert service recommendations. It is essential for the Enterprise Sales Account Executive to communicate the unique value proposition of Orlando Telephone Company in the competitive marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the complete range of services to both new and existing commercial clients.
- Engage in extensive prospecting, networking, and cold calling activities on a regular basis.
- Identify new lead sources and cultivate networking relationships.
- Develop and maintain a structured sales funnel with qualified opportunities over 30, 60, and 90-day periods.
- Target high-margin solutions by focusing on on-net and near-net prospects.
- Evaluate sales opportunities and coordinate internal resources for effective sales support.
- Ensure timely delivery of sold solutions in collaboration with the Service Delivery team.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in telecommunications or cable services is required.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Willingness to spend extended periods in the field for client prospecting and visits.
- Proficient in computer usage, including word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet software.
- Must successfully pass background checks and drug testing.
- Maintain current auto insurance with specified coverage throughout employment.
